Life

So, it's been a few days since I've been on here and thought it was time for an update.  We have been extremely busy the past week.  Met with the Realtor again today so next Wednesday is the walk through by 20  Realtors to help set the price so the race is on to get things done and ready!  The boys room is pretty much finished now just need to paint the trim inside the closet and spray paint the doors, the plan is to do all the doors that need done in the house all at one time.  Cruising along with the de-cluttering and cleaning but yet still so much to do, especially the outside!  And we have the stairway walls and ceiling to sheetrock and paint!
And....Dan threw out his back really bad yesterday and is out of commission completely right now.  It is the worst he has ever done it so who knows what the recovery time will be.  He sees the Dr. tomorrow to make sure it's just muscles and not something worse.  Did it doing warm ups for his workout so he is very frustrated, I think he would have rather he hurt it doing something stupid or on heavy weight lifting.  Just another sign we aren't getting any younger.
Boys are at worship practice tonight and tomorrow night we are having a "Dutch Harbor Show and Tell" night with all their friends.  Lots of pictures, video and of course great stories to tell.   Ariel is making cookies (with help) and Kierstynn wants to do Cheesecake, I'm not sure what I will make yet.
Saturday, is going to be a big work day (hopefully), although Kierstynn and I have a birthday Luncheon to attend at noon and will probably last a few hours.  Lot's of yard work, pressure washing, painting etc.  Hoping to get some help from the young men (or old men :-)
God is faithful, I am so thankful that when the storms come he is our rock and salvation and that he extends His peace, grace and mercy.  Raising a family is never "easy" but I do have a savior to call on, a husband to love me and family and friends to remind me to trust in the Lord and call on His name.  This summer (okay maybe the past year) has been a very learning growing time for myself and our family of which I am thankful for (even though it hasn't all been easy or fun) it has pressed me out and directed me back to the Lord, and reminded me of what I believe and what is important.  For that I Thank The Lord.
