Well, the project is moving right along now, as well as the mess in the rest of the house, dust and grime seem to come with the territory. I am busy decluttering and packing up unused things from the kitchen in preperation to put the house on the market. Yes you heard right we have decided to put the house on the market by the end of the month. We of course are hoping for a quick sale but realize it could be a year or more with the way the market is right now. Our friends up the street have had thier house on the market for a year now. However, it really doesn't count as a year, they tried selling it themselves for a few months and then listed it above what the Realtor suggested and didn't get anyone even looking at it for a while, the have dropped the price twice and had one nibble that fell through. They just did another price reduction, and open house Sunday with nothing. Soooo.....we would appreciate your prayers for a quick sale and for peace as we finish the "punch" list.
We had our own punch list and then Dan on a whim called the Realtor to come walk through the house so he can prepare a fair Market Estimate for us. Yikes, the punch list just more than doubled! That better be one high
price! We are most certainly going to need a lot of help! A lot of painting inside and some touch up outside. I don't love painting anyway, so here it goes! Dan has one more sheet rock project when he finishes the boys room now, the stairway walls. Our goal is for it to be on the market no later than September 1st.
