A day in our lives

Today, Dan finished mudding and sanding all the sheetrock on the stairway, tomorrow we start priming, he is soooo happy to be done with that!  He also spent much of the day at the "Gym" we are co-opening (Crossfit style but not affiliated gym).
We had our first and probably only day of summer, high 70's today!  Yay!  It was so nice to have sun and be warm the past two days, did lot's of outside work, laying bark, weeding, painting etc.  They girls had a great time playing in the pool, slip-n-slide, sprinkler and sand table.  Ate popsicles and lunch outside in the sun.  They were out almost all day and got a bit sunburned but I don't think they mind at all
Jamie got his first Work Van today, it isn't officially his yet until they finish the paperwork, but he, Daniel and his friend Jeff have been tearing into it and cleaning it thoroughly for several hours now.  It's nice to see them excited about something.  It had been pretty neglected for a few years so it needs a good cleaning.  Right now they are buffing out the exterior of the body on it.  Looking better already.
Kaitlynn lost another tooth her 8th I think now.  She is very excited about the tooth fairy coming tonight!
And not exactly exciting but Steven discovered removing his diaper during his nap!  Yesterday I put him down in just a diaper and he took it off and had pooped on the blankets and rolled in it a bit.  So today I thought I would out smart him and put a onesie over it so he couldn't get his diaper off. WRONG!  He just unsnapped the onsesie and took his diaper off anyway, and today was way worse!!!  He smeared it everywhere, and he sleeps in a portable crib/playpen so it was bad.  Not to mention he used it as Gel in his hair, had it all over his body and had even tried eating it!  Yuck!  He is one stinky boy!  Guess we just might have to resort to duck taping his diaper on at nap time!
Our punch list is shrinking and we are almost there.  One week from tomorrow is the deadline we set for ourselves (as far as putting the house on the market), I think we could be ready by the end of the weekend, things are looking great around here.  We are hoping that by putting a couple hundred (and many man hours) into the house it will make it more desirable in an already tight market.  Praying for a quick sale.
Oh the other thing that happened today was Kierstynn was baking some cheesecake bars for a thank you gift and while they were baking in the oven my 13x9 inch glass pan exploded!  Talk about a huge mess, thankfully she and Jamie cleaned it up thoroughly and then we put it on the self clean cycle.

Some of you have asked about pictures of the boys trip, I have been so crazy busy working from the time get up to about 10:00 at night that I haven't even been getting on here.  But after next week hopefully things will slow down a bit and I can put some on here for you all.
And as far as our plan with selling  the house, we are really hoping to move to a nicer neighborhood and gain another bedroom.  The plan is to rent for a while until we find exactly what we want for the price we want and to give us some time to save up some more money if we need to.  It will also give us some time to decide if we want to build again or buy another fixer.  We really want to get closer to the school/ church though, this year I have 3 different pick up times and thankfully 1 drop off time.  That is a lot of trips, across town, since we moved here to be close to the old church/school and hadn't had to drive to school at all for 4 years!
