Whew!!

It's now 10:20 P.M. and we are finally getting a chance to sit down.  I have decided I really like having Dan home the day before we leave, sure makes things a lot easier to get ready!  Usually we time our trips to start on his first day off so packing and last minute stuff is up to me and the kids.  This time however, we are attending a wedding so the trip is based on those dates so it worked out nicely.  The trailer is all packed and everyone is all packed now, except for the last minute things we can't grab till morning we are ready to go.
The boys had to pack first for the wedding and second for Alaska.  They have weighed and reweighed their bags trying to keep them under the 50 pound limit.  It's amazing how much 2 pairs of Carhartt pants can weigh!  They are really excited.  Both for the wedding (it is a good friend of theirs and for Alaska).
We are leaving very early in the morning and thankfully the house is in pretty good shape and not the crazy mess it usually is when we leave.  It just needs it's normal Saturday morning scrubbing, think I'll hire one of the teenage girls to come clean while we are gone.  Good night all!
