So...here is what I have, they hiked Canyon Creek this time, 4+ miles in to base camp and then did a day hike Saturday to the lake. Nice and short for all the beginners, Dan really enjoyed it and is looking forward to doing a longer harder hike when our boys get back. Dan really enjoys backpacking and our children are following in his footsteps, I am so thankful he got the opportunity to spend the weekend with Norm, Josh and the girls, what memories they will have!
Ariel ready for her first backpacking trip.

I know this is blurry but it's one of the only pictures of them together.
My hobo Kierstynn and her dog Heidi.
God's beautiful creation!
Resting at the Lake after hiking there for their day hike.

If you look closely to the left in the crevice of the rocks you will see pretty Lavender daisies. Dan took this for me because I love the wild flowers and Lavender is my favorite color. I find it amazing how something so beautiful can grow in such a hard rough place, God is amazing.
To the right is a little water fall coming down over the rock and hitting a lip on the rock forcing it to spray out. Pretty neat.
Josh Mandille and Norm Arbec. Josh looks like he is striking his manly pose, I think Norm has the right idea, he is relaxing in a pool of water, it was really, really hot!
