Never a dull a moment!

Well...life continues to be exciting!  We ended up leaving Eureka at 6:00 in the morning and pulled into Olympia, WA at 6:30 p.m.  Not to bad only got stuck in bad traffic once.  We made it safely, the guys went to Joe's party at about 7:00 and got home around 10:00.  They really enjoyed their time with the men and seeing Joe.  While they were gone the girls and Steven all went to the pool and swam with friend for a couple hours.  Kierstynn got to share a room with her friends Kelly Kent, Madison Seelye and Miranda Seelye so they had lot's of fun!
Saturday morning brought more swimming while mom Ironed clothes and got everything ready for the wedding.  Dan had to make an emergency trip to the store to buy belts and lighter weight undershirts because it was hot!!!  Daniel forgot one of his dress shoes so he was going to wear tennis shoes...yikes...thankfully Dan had an extra pair of brown casual dress shoes which is better with Navy slacks than tennis shoes.  Thankfully the wedding didn't start until 1:00.
We had a blast at the wedding, lot's of music, dancing and great food and fellowship!  Jamie and Daniel played their song which was really fun.  And we really enjoyed the group from Portland, The Blues Brothers.  FUN!
Got back to the hotel around 10:00 p.m., took the kids swimming again until mid night!  Ahhh you only get to be young once, what memories.  Then slept in, got around slow, had breakfast at 9 and once again went swimming.  Oops...almost forgot Dan and the boys didn't sleep in they woke up at 5:30 to go to the airport.
That meant Dan had to drive 2 extra hours that morning.
Dan dropped off the boys to check in and went to park, on his way back to the airport there was a lady down on the ground with people gathered around, he ended up helping, taking a pulse etc.  She was completely motionless but her eyes were open and moving.  Turns out she has a medical condition that causes periodic paralysis.  Something he has never seen in his life...apparently her son said over the phone that if  you just leave her be somewhere quiet in one or two hours she will be completely fine.  Is that crazy or what?
We started driving up to Lynden, Ferndale, Bellingham area at about noon that day and had a nice easy trip, stopping for ice cream cones on the way.
However, the boys had a much more adventurous day.  Since Daniel didn't have his picture ID and had to use his birth Cert and soc card it caused problems getting through security!  They had to have a supervisor ask them a million questions.  Any how, finally made it through but it wasn't easy.  Hopefully it goes better on the way home!  They made it to Anchorage without a glitch, however, the flight to Unalaska was a different story.  They flew all the way out to Unalaska, circled like 5 times, but the fog wouldn't lift so they had to turn around and head back.  The landed in Cold Bay to refuel and then flew back to Anchorage, they got there around 8:00 and spent the night sleeping on the floor of the airport.  I tried to talk them into staying in a hotel but they insisted they were fine.  Their flight was due to depart at 8:00 this morning, however, they were on weather hold for 3  hours and then they were on mechanical hold for 30 minutes.  Apparently they all boarded and someone broke the latch to one of the overhead bins so they all had to get off and wait for it to be repaired.  Crazy!  They finally departed at 11:37 and had several added stops along the way so a 3 1/2 hour flight took longer.  They arrived safely at around 4:00 or so.  Glad to hear they made it, now this momma can breathe a lot easier.  Couldn't help but worry and wonder what the heck we were thinking letting them go alone!  But now they are with Grandpa and Grandma so all is well.
We arrived here yesterday, Cory and Autum and kids came out to mom and dad's place in Ferndale to visit us briefly last night.  Then we slept in and had a lazy morning, Steven took a nap from 10-2:30 today so we didn't make it over to Cory's till late this afternoon, cousins are having a blast.  Oh..and keeping with the excitement, as we were leaving Kierstynn locked the keys in the house and had to climb through the window to get them and then proceeded to shut her finger in the car door...ouch!  She will definitely lose the finger nail!  Poor girl!
Weather is mid 60's and a bit cloudy, no swimming in the pool today.  Just finished dinner and Autum has cookies in the oven, smelling great!  Will post pics tomorrow.  Sorry it is so long, so much has happened in the past couple days!
