This is what she used to look like on the front exterior in Spring of '05
The backyard was a jungle and all way overgrown first order of work by our friends/neighbors on moving day was to clean it all up (they own a lawn/garden care business).
A view from the back alley, notice the lovely graffiti on the back of our Shed.
Clean up, notice the pile in the back of the truck and the open ended shed.
And this was my lovely kitchen, I only wish there was scratch and sniff so you could smell the wonderful smell of rotting garbage and rat poo! My friend and neighbor Martha Kent spent hours helping me clean it well enough to inhabit it. Thank you Martha!
And this was the gorgeous walls and trim in what is now the playroom (the room with the mantle and wood burning insert), it's now one of my favorite rooms. Notice the painted floor! No floor coverings in most of the house, they just painted it all.
Jamie priming over the walls the very first night we moved in, none of us could handle it. When we sat on the couch we just couldn't relax.
The view of the same room from what is now the office, but was at this time the Laundry area, shooting into what is now the striped living room.
The area where the mantle once stood and the old brick fireplace in the "playroom".
The upstairs bathroom, with it's leaky toilet and tub.
Same bathroom.
a sideways shot of what is now my dining room.
Upstairs what is now the boys bedroom, at this time it was Dan, I and Kaitlynn.
Same room.
The downstairs bathroom with it's unfinished remodel from the previous owners.
Same bathroom with painted floor.
View of the back door from the bathroom.
Same bathroom facing the "toilet area"
Front Entry or Foyer area.
Looking down the stairs sideways.
This is just a few pictures I found today, Dan and I were looking at them and going wow, we forget how much we did and how many changes we made. We both went, what were we thinking?

Laying the power bond before we had redone the front living room.
