Another Day Down...well...almost

I really should be working on my weekly grocery shopping list instead of doing this but oh well.  Watched Noah Jordan this morning, that was fun, he and Bryanna had fun together.  He especially loved it when Jamie was around briefly this morning. Jamie didn't have any work at Carpet Express but worked a side job all day instead so thankfully he was here this morning to drive the kids to school.  It was my day to carpool, but we had a showing (for the area Realtors to walk through), at 9:15 and I was running late.  I set my alarm for 6:20 but must have turned it off instead of hitting snooze...ooops!  So I over slept until 7:15, Kierstynn set her alarm clock for 6:30 and over slept till about the same time.  How that happened I will never know, but needless to say it made for a huge scramble to get the kids out the door by 8:00 this morning.  So Jamie took them, Josh Kent and Steven with him to school so Bryanna and I could finish cleaning up.  Unfortunately because we were so short on time, the girls had clothes on their floor and none of them had made their beds so it took a lot longer to clean up than I anticipated.  Whew!  Got out of here by 9:05 parked a block away to get a movie going for them and get them all situated.  Glad I left a bit early because they arrived a bit early!  Went and got coffee and Not-so-Hots from Dutch Bros Coffee (for those who don't know a Not-so-Hot is basically a kids hot chocolate this isn't so hot).  Then came back and parked down the street to wait, let the kids watch Backyardigans on the DVD player and enjoy their NSH.  I even let Steven have one, that was interesting, he did really good until he got board with it and started shaking it out on his neck and thought it was great fun!

The walk through went great as usual, our biggest battle is going to be the neighborhood, which we already anticipated.  So we are going to keep with the plan, we are really impressed with our Realtors, they really do take care of you that's for sure.  We feel like he is really trying to sell our house for us, in the past we have had Realtors who did just enough to get by and who we didn't feel were really serving us, like he is, all out.   He plans to do an open house in about 1 1/2 weeks.  Praying for a buyer at the right price.

Poor little Steven has had a cold since Saturday but was miserable today, he seems to be running a fever this afternoon.  He has been sleeping a lot today, glad I didn't really have to go much of anywhere today.

Jamie get's the Title to his van tomorrow so he is very excited, he can now officially start driving it!  He is out in the dark trying to finish off the shelves in there so he can use it tomorrow on his side job.  Now we just have to figure out what exactly he/we are going to do with the green truck until Daniel can drive it in April.

Dan and his business Partners are nearly ready to do their soft opening on the Gym they have been working on the past 2 months.  He has to get the toilet in  before they can really open, probably Monday of next week, they were hoping for yesterday, but...not happening.  They are hoping to have their Grand Opening the first of November.  He is excited, and glad he isn't the primary owner, just part.  Most of his contribution has been weights and equipment we had already purchased from a closed gym and were storing for the someday, one-day opening of ours.  And his time is a big contribution, building a ADA bathroom from scratch and installing flooring in the entry.  I just realized I haven't taken any pictures yet, will have to get some and post.

Maybe after the big push for the gym is over we can finally get away and relax for a bit!  Yeah right....
