House update

Thank you  Lord!  We have found a place to live! It is in the neighborhood we wanted to be in, is about 2,200 sqare feet, 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms.  It needs a  lot of work, which is the only down side, it makes things even that much crazier right now.  It has been sitting vacant for quite some time now and has a musty smell we will have to get rid off.  We still have a punch list on this house to get done for the pest work, and packing/moving.  But now we get to add replacing all carpet and some of the linoleum at the rental house, painting everything but one room, prep work before we paint (spackling etc.), peeling some wallpaper in the bathrooms and a  border in one bedroom.  Our plan it to get all the flooring redone and the bedrooms painted before we move in and then we may be finishing up the rest later.  The kids are excited because the family room has a large hot tub (yes, it's inside!), the hot tub part sounds nice but I wish it were outside!  It takes up a huge portion of the room and makes it a pretty unusable space.  But when you rent it's not a choice we get.  I think the layout of the house will work real well for us, the backyard is a bit small but they can play on the sidewalk or street since it's a quiet street.  And we will be a few blocks from our friends who have kids the same ages as ours, starting at Kierstynn and on down.  At any rate we are grateful for the opportunity and feel the Lord really provided this for us.  The owner is being quite gracious with us and not requiring a first/last and deposit.  Which is an answer to prayer, we were trying to figure out how we were going to swing all that before closing on this house.  Thank you for your prayers.
