So...we received an offer on our house Monday and just countered today. Please keep this in your prayers. It would be wonderful if he agrees to our conter and if things went smoothly. Tentatively if he does agree and we enter into contract it would close just after Christmas and before the first of the year. The waiting is the hard part :-)
The kids had their last day of school this week today instead of tomrrow, we have a 4 day weekend, which we are really looking forward to! The weather looks to be pretty nice, which is good because I need to pull some weeds and tidy up the yard. I did the front today but the back is still lookin sad and neglected. Ariel has her violin recital on Sunday and she chose to go first. She is so excited about it, and really looking forward to going first!
I have been fighting a cough for 3 1/2 weeks now, last Friday it had gotten pretty bad, I had no energy (from not sleeping at night for 2 1/2 weeks) and I was having a hard time taking a deep breath. So Dan sent me to the Dr., I had to see one I've never seen there before and hope I never do. He looked at me and said to try taking an expectorant (which I had already done), use a vaporizer, vicks on my chest and drink lots of water. He did however prescribe a cough syrup with Codeine to help me sleep at night and said if I didn't improve to call on Monday and he would prescribe an antibiotic. Well, by Sunday my chest hurt so bad I was "sleeping" sitting up and was so wiped out I could hardly be up. Spent all of Sunday and Monday on the couch or in bed. So..Monday morning I called to get that antibiotic, and low and behold yesterday I started feeling much better. My energy is returning and I am finally able to cough the icky stuff out, so breathing is easier. Just wish I could've gotten those antibiotics earlier, so I didn't have to get so wiped out and take so long to recover. Oh, well.
I got to go to school today and be Miss Sczepanski, that was so much fun! I am an aide on Fridays but I never get to be Miss Sczepanski, she teaches totally different subjects than Mrs. Nelson. So it was a fun change. Love being with them and Kaitlynn and Ariel love it too. It really helps to feel more connected to whats going on there.
