Today we had Ariel and Amanda Barney's birthday party, where we decorated cupcakes, played on the trampoline, opened presents, ate pizza, ate cupcakes, drank punch, played some more, had fast food for dinner, watched movies, ate ice cream, ate some candy from their party bags, and are now "sleeping" in the girls room, 4 on the floor and 2 in the bed. Whew! What a day!.
On top of all that, I did a workout this morning at 9:00, showed up to cover the 5:00 time slot (which was a no show,) so I left at 5:30 to pick up all the girls from Theresa's and bring them home before I had to go back and do the 6:00 time slot. Finished at 7:00, picked up Little House on the Prairie movies on the way home and joined the party again.
The party was supposed to be Friday, however we (myself, Dan and Jamie were still battling the stomach flu) so we had to move it. We have no school today and tomorrow, because most of the school (middle School-College age) is gone on the Annual Snowboarding/Ski trip. Dan and I usually chaperon but I couldn't find anyone to take Steven so I ended up staying behind. They are having a great time conditions are perfect and they are expecting 24 inches of snow! Which is awesome, because when we took the college group last month it was packed, cold and icy and hadn't snowed in weeks. Which makes for a rough landing! Praying for a safe trip, no get's hurt and no car accidents! We've had both in the past at different times. Please keep them in your prayers, especially with the extreme snowy conditions. Looking forward to their return tomorrow night.
